For the most up-to-date information on the situation in Japan right now go
to the International Atomic Energy Agency webpage - http://www.iaea.org/
and
look under IAEA Alert Log. This site will have unbiased and scientifically
based information about the Power Plant issues.

Another good site is the Nuclear Energy Institute based in Washington DC
which has the following information -

http://www.nei.org/newsandevents/information-on-the-japanese-earthquake-and-
reactors-in-that-region

A third good source is the World Nuclear News at -

http://www.world-nuclear-news.org/RS_Massive_earthquake_hits_Japan_1103111.h
tml

All three state that... Japanese authorities say there has so far been no
release of radiation from any of the nuclear power plants affected by
today’s earthquake and aftershocks.

Another website is Nuclear Engineering International which has an in-depth
article on the why the emergency protocols were followed even though there
was no release of radiation.
